I remember refuse to watch the anime few years ago bcs it sounds so pedophilic but one scene convice me to watch it and I lied if I said I didnt get hooked, turns out those 2000s problematic story still have its charm
I doubt no adults hates this story back in the day, its probably the same as today, they just didnt have many places to write reviews or just leave one in the official platfrom and call it a day.
Anyway, critic is deserve but trying to attack ppl who just want to have harmless discussion with other fans isn’t really a good thing
