Dam who is 14 finds out that that he can grow plants but he also doesn't age as time goes by he ends up watching his mother sister and his sister's daughter grow old so he ends up leaving the village and hides in the forest (this is a short summary of The beginning but I highly recommend you read this and this isn't a really good summary)
