In her defense just a little she was only avoiding her brother because she did not want to go down that path of jealousy which was all caused by the emperor. It's not crazy for someone to hate the sibling that is more favored by the parents even if that sibling loves them
Her brother sucks tho because he never saw her pain. He never gets mad at his father for neglecting his sister so he may performatively love her but only for his own satisfaction not actually loves her enough to defend and take care of her.
That's so true. I'm sure he noticed how she was treated, it's would be hard not too now that I think about and he didn't do anything to help I would hate him too

Its such a frustrating read. Shes cries about no one loving her and then actively rejects the one peron who is lirtally chasing her with his love and crying for her love him back. I kinda hate her...
