I'm only on chapter 7(Re-reader), but why is everyone he originally hated/wanted dead becoming his closets friends? The servants, cousins, and even the father all become so close to him and these were the main people that the original Vincent wanted dead. He hated them so bad that he died. For example when he sends his personal servant to confront the woman who is embezzling money from him and forcing him around people who abuse him seen a way of trying to help him grow stronger? Mind you this happens with 90% of the rest of the characters as well. I'm only pointing this out because they made it such a big deal in forcing the idea that old Vincent HATES these people and the reason he had such a hard life is because of them. It was like a whole chapter and they explained it like 3-4 different times that they abused him and said abuse being the reason for his death.
To add more logic, would it not be enough for her to use her own money on Vincent? How is stealing his money supposed to be a good thing just because you plan to give it back, it was his to begin with. Things like this continue to happen throughout the story as if they are trying to force you to see a bad person in good light, or as if they are covering up a plot point that they no longer want to use.
