I didn’t realised i wrote whole ass paragraphs

I feel more frustrated with Daon than with Ixor. I get why Ixor was seen as toxic at first, especially with his obsession and the whole “war is a game” mindset. But as the story goes on, he actually tries to reason with her and stays patient—to the point where even I started getting frustrated watching her keep running away.

With Daon, I can understand why she acts the way she does, but I still think it would be better if she at least tried to talk things out with him. I know it’s not easy to trust someone, even if you love them, because I’ve been in a similar situation before. Still, especially when a pregnancy is involved, it feels wiser to at least try changing her past patterns, particularly when Ixor has been consistent about checking on her and communicating.

I’m also curious about how Ixor is viewed publicly in the story, or whether there are any side effects from his “war is a game” attitude, especially if he’s actually been to war before. To me, it sometimes feels like that’s just his way of speaking lightly, while deep down he genuinely cares about his people. I might be biased or interpreting things differently from others, so I’d really like to hear other perspectives on these two main leads.
