Yeah…. I know this was going to be rushed because so much shit has happened in the last 10 chapters………..
I see this problem soooo often in BL because the novels are 100 chapter behemoths and you just cannot get a faithful adaptation because you have to pay someone to draw it all out. I don’t think it’s possible to adapt novels extremely well unless: A) it’s a short/not very plotty novel B) hugely successful
This story is popular enough but no MDZS and it’s way to plotty and long. I consistently dread reading novel adaptations even though they are on average better written because it’s always rushed! Such a disappointment but hey, I’ve seen worse so I don’t want to shit on it too much. I’m just sad that all this quality had to fade away so pathetically.
