I don't even think a redemption arc is possible here

I hate this. I really tried to give it a chance, and I like stories with most of the same tropes, but theres no chemistry or redeeming qualities, and I don't see any avenue for redemption bc the uke deserves so much better. The seme is just abusive trash who treats the uke like an object, doesn't care about him at all. I hope the "rainwater" ability is based on happiness or souls fufillment or something stupid like that so that it stops working and the seme dies because thats what he deserves at the moment.
