Ariadne knew what her father wanted from the start of her second life. She plotted revenge for the entire family.
But along the way she just genuinely fell in love and like a stupid ass is again putting all of her efforts into a man instead of herself. How she didn’t learn from her first life is beyond me.

Her speech to her father was sooo refreshing because the entire time Ariadne has been playing right into the system and becoming just another part of it. But Isabella recognized how flawed the entire thing is, she realised she as well as ariadne have been raised as broodmares just for the ambition of men. She is still a villain and horrible but she is now infinitely more interesting than Ariadne, she honestly has more depth than her.
