He assumes things too much and opens his mouth without thinking. Even if he doesn’t identify as gay, it doesn’t change the fact that someone saw him having a cute moment and decided to call him gay as though it were an insult. I know he isn't a truly mean guy but his fear is so overpowering that he hurts others in the process and it's just so rude. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Also, I'm just kind of amazed he hasn't realised that his fear shouldn't be about what random people see his as but it should be towards to those whom you care about and how they see you as. If that makes any sense.
And once he sees that the people who love him couldn't care less and just accept him as he is, he'd have nothing to worry about.
