I’m going to be that person and just let you know that the age of consent in Japan is 16. In fact, until mid-2023 it was 13. So, western views on the subject are not always going to be the point of view when written from their cultural viewpoint.
That is not true. Japanese people aren't inside a bubble. There's a lot of people fighting since the early 2000s in Japan, against the sexual portray of minos on media like manga. The age of consent applies to minors with other minos, not adult with minor.
There's no such a thing as westerns pushing their morals to poor Japanese people, we pretty much agree with the dangers that this comic culture bring to society.

Legit a good premise but its the same way on how I feel with Euphoria, why the nines are they highschoolers?! Evwhen I was in high school Ive always questioned that and honestly loved older romances and if you wanted to include family with logical privacy but in there life college. I finished it but In honestly disappointed because its a 2019 Manga I kinda thought we went past this. Also really didn't need to make him a minor its also the fact they clearly ironically enough different way how the dragon was a clear adult and time and time again explained the Mc was a minor. Everyone was okay with it in the Manga it was really hard to see it all as cute and even more disappointed the comments are on the same boat. It wasn't a bad Manga its just honestly could have the Mc in college and.it would had been perfect.
