    This may contain spoiler:

He’s an interesting character with questionable motives, so not entirely a 'good' person. He seems to genuinely care about Yaba at first, but he still has his own goals and selfishness. In the end, they’re both victims of kidnapping and abuse.

Uh did you read the novel, because other people do pretty much describe his actions and he’s evil

I did read it, lol You can clearly see that Cocaine cared about Yaba at first because they knew each other long before the kidnapping. Even though they hate each other now, you can tell that Cocaine tried to reconnect with Yaba, but unfortunately, it wasn’t mutual. Yaba hates him now, especially after his brother chose Cocaine over his choir performance and after he became unstable following the assault by Giha’s men (and Cocaine didn’t know that).

And in the end, Cocaine’s selfishness got the best of him when he realized Yiseok could help him escape Paradiso, but Yaba ruined his plan when Yiseok became interested in Yaba instead of him. He’s evil, yes but I just think labeling him as 100% evil doesn’t do his complexity justice and the same goes for Yaba. He’s not 100% a good person either. Everyone is trying to survive and get out of Paradiso, no matter what it takes.

And this is why I like Yaba as the MC, he’s not some good, overly righteous person with high morals. He’s morally gray in the most painful human way possible

Haha what does ‘holy mother attitude’ even mean? I just stated my opinion about the character ‘you’ asked about. Did you read the novel? What’s wrong with having a different analysis of a character? If you prefer a simpler view of them, that’s fine. Good for you
