This is really quick pacing compared to the novel. The novel felt more slow burn and you get a lot of the inner monologue where the feelings and emotions are expressed
I feel so sorry it comes out like that to you ..... The novel is much, muuuuch better, please consider giving it a try. It is very poetic, the world building much more interesting, there's lots of nuance and accountability, characters more fully fledged and better shaped overall. Even I think it's very stiff and awkward which is so disappointing ┗( T﹏T )┛
Idk why the pacing feels so off in this story, I wonder if the novel is any better because I'm really not feeling the romance in this its so stilted and awkward, their feelings both feel out of nowhere, and the sleeping together so early and with no build up just felt off, if not even a bit creepy I feel like I'm reading a psychological horror lol
