well if i remember, he was shocked, like he questioned everything they did and all but the seme is loving and forgiving as always so he accepts him no matter what, but ian is hard af to him saying he only loves ain not ian like almost through out the novel until like 5 chapters in he got a change of heart then the end, people say the endings not good and i also believe tho they have side stories
