Guessing… Cassian becomes a hero acknowledged by the world, the truth of Lampus’s corruption is revealed globally, additional truths (currently yet revealed to the readers) about the 4 evil monarchs gets revealed and spread to all those who weren’t previously in the know, we learn driver’s backstory/background, people stop seeing villains as evil and psychers as good and instead start judging them as based on whether they behave with good or evil (you know, with less predetermined, prejudicial bias) AKA as individuals.

People typically don’t question what they already perceive as the truth. Think about how long it took humans to question if the world was flat, or if slavery is wrong, etc.
