Question about adding mangas under"reading"

I remembered I added a lot of mangas under reading so that when there's an update I'll get a notification... This year started and I had no update I double check the mangas I was reading all of them was erased I mean like deleted off of my reading list ... Is this normal? Or is that a new year new system kind of thing?
