I read the other one and from the way I see it I don't think they are rivals. I think they both became interested with each other until the switch then Lyon really became interested in him and wanted to know more. Lyon also was the first one to see the difference without knowing him so well. If you read the other one from Lyon's POV you will see that very much so.
Have you guys read the manhwa “necromancer from the fallen family” lyon marbas? this guy is also there I wonder if theres anything about them being rivals in the other manhwas first chapter
