I thought the art seemed familiar but didn't realise the author's a BL mangaka until the end of v2.
It's a bit messy because the author is trying to play with two different timelines and main characters while making them interact. I hope the flow will be better in the future because it's hard to get attached when both main characters dislike each other and have similar ambitions despite being so different. I personally prefer v2's MC because I'm a sucker for a tragic backstory, but having v1's MC hate him really left a bad taste and doesn't rlly compile me to read about their mutual rivalry.
