Even though the way it's drawn and shown is lighthearted and fun, if you really really think about what's happening, it's actually pretty bad. Why? Uke keeps lying to Seme and seme keeps on getting played. Apply it in real life and bam! Average toxic relationship. Second couple is a bit higher in the toxic relationship category. Seme keeps lying and manipulating the uke because "he knows" uke will do anything to please him. Thus uke kept being led on by the obviously red flag seme.
See? It's not fun. It's just showing us how toxic relationships start and progress. For me? Since they ended up together anyway, I feel like a bystander to a rocky relationship happening and will just smh.
