I’m ngl early in the story I had a feeling we were gonna get a love interest for the dad just because Leo kept mentioning it but I do agree with the chemistry, but idk I trust that it will get better. The story as a whole is well written and I don’t really have any gripes with the story so I trust the author to clean up this arc well. But everytime I think about the dad and varia I can’t seem to see how it will tie in. I also think varia’s personality is a little childlike so I feels a little weird and awkward. I think if she had a more mature and motherly aspect to her then her relationship with the duke would progress more smoothly. Idk at the same time this arc just started so we’ll just have to see what is planned out
A part of me also wishes the duke doesn’t settle with a lover but for Leo’s future it also makes sense if he did. Even if he had children other than Leo too because if he dies in the future Leo wouldn’t be set with family, other than whoever she marries in the future.
Right right, that's why I'm still staying hoping that they're love story wouldn't feel like awkward chemistry. I do hope for the banquet we'll see their visual presentation and of course interaction that would make us realize their chemistry. I really hate if i have to drop this

They don't even know each others favorite food yet why would there be deep chemistry between them? Theyve yet to have a sit down and talk, deep serious conversation about each other and they wont foa awhile

True but I hope you don’t come to drop the story. A lot of people who read the nov l said this arc is their favorite and they couldn’t wait for it to be drawn so I trust it will be good

I saw one comment here not seeing chemistry and wahhh i feel the same, I can't see the chemistry yet and for the past 2 chapters I've been scrolling past to get through like it doesn't interest me anymore. And like there's a part of me that read it because of leo so it's like I'm more interested in reading about her than her parents love story
