Everything did still come by choice; influenced by environment or as simple as it being a want. In the end both will go to the point of action: making a choice. So dont give up yihwa, hold onto that one sole purpose and you wont be astray...no matter how much you fall into darkness.
After all, there's a lot of mcs to learn from. Take power n control in the world, and use it to get what they want: to protect. In the end, what determines them to succeed is preservation, effort and time.

I like his ideals even if it's naive. The world is too dark but i still prefer to see fireflies you know. Also, this can lead to that one trope that i like: the anti-hero that protects the hero. The "light and warmth and everything good in the world, so let me be the one to protect it so continues to shine".
