. Main story ends with MC sacrificing himself for everyone but continues in the sidestories where he ends up happily ever after with ML.
Not so tldr: Since MC sacrificed himself, ML regresses one more time for MC. He finds MC, waits til he isekais (with no memories since they're starting from scratch) then sticks to him. You know that memory ball in the earlier chapters? They use that for memory return so close circle knows about MC's last life. They find out the reason there are dungeons is cause of the 'awakening skills' they have (ML's is regressing) so to stop dungeons, they needed to get rid of the skills. Fortunately, ML was gifted the ability to burn/get rid of awakening skills the last time they defeated the keymaster. So, essentially, that will be ML's last life and it will be with MC.
