Idk but I think I read something in the novel about being caught by the father (I hope not) I'm not sure cuz my memory sucks
I think there is. I forgot but I think his father later hits him on the thigh or calf with a stick or smt. The parents are abusive and it's the reason why sister is in low/no contact w the family.
