I wouldn’t call this bad, just aggressively mediocre. Didn’t Hyedo already tell the ML he was framed when they first met? So why is he having a full existential crisis at the end. selective memory loss or last-minute drama injection? Or did I misread?
The ex is the most textbook “insert psycho rival here” character imaginable. No depth, no motive, just there because BL law apparently requires one unstable ex per relationship.
And the mc's logic?: Every single conflict gets solved with sex. Misunderstanding? Sex. Emotional damage? Sex. Actual conversation? Absolutely not.
And the MC cries nonstop. Not touching, not heartbreaking, just constant. After a while it stops feeling emotional and starts feeling like he’d tear up over mild weather.
Finally the MC can’t function unless a knight in shining armor shows up to move his life forward. He has almost no agency. things don’t happen because he acts, they happen because someone rescues him. Well that last thing is basically most of BL's base plot.
