Just my thoughts

Kinda struggling to get over the premise of this story.
Mc being fired and replaced by AI so he joins an AI company that's gonna be responsible for more capable ppl being replaced by technology that lacks nuance and actively contributes to loss of expertise/ownership/humanity??
And the Jio guy also thought the way to deal with his own life having being affected by wall street's unethical practices is to develop technology/services that ultimately lead to similar employment issues?? We're not talking abt it being used as an assisting tool, it literally replaces people in non-menial jobs/roles.

I don't think it's "ai propaganda" like some comments think the criticism is abt. For me, it's hard to be interested in or sympathetic to tech and investment bros (even fictional) who've lost the plot of life and what repercussions their actions have.
Maybe if the writing was better, I could get into it (like, I watch 'Industry' and enjoy it, and that show isn't some example of clear cut morality - but the writing has depth), but it's mostly full of surface cliches that don't offer nearly enough complexity to grab my attention. I basically end up treating this as a B-rated parody.

From the few chapters I've read so far it looks like he's trying to make an "AI best friend" which is like the worst possible use for it. Like asking it to tell you how you feel is just plain stupid.

I personally don't want any ai related stories bc I find it exhausting to read about. It's already ruining our lives, I don't wanna see it anywhere else
