It was good but painfully rushed also the anime "Another" has this trope too where an impostor student takes place or something along those lines, I'd definitely recommend it. Season 1 was amazing, it has just the right amount of eerie and intriguing vibe but season 2 was pretty rushed and the explanation and the whole plot of Lei turning back time was explained as vaguely as possible when they could've streched it out real well. It feels more disappointing since the story had crazy potential, also icl making holden pilgrim the villain makes me feel bad for him like he didn't even do shit and he kept dying just so Lei could fit in, and at the end when he obviously wants to take revenge, he's made out to be the villain?? lol it's stupid. I don't even wanna go into the character personalities cuz it was just very all over the place, Jade couldn't stick to his personality for a single chapter and kept switching like a pendulum, itd have probably been more beneficial if they illustrated his dilemma rather than straight up showing him as caring and blushing when his personality was the complete opposite at the start. It just feels abrupt and the plot hole of what happened to Jade's mother was frustrating too, or maybe i missed the explaination I don't know, but it would've done so well if they dived into Jade's past and what exactly is a witch and stuff. The story could've gone in so many directions and the plot could've been so much better if the story was longer but oh well, considering how rare plot focused bls are, I'll take what I get. overall worth the read.
