I guess so, too. If the artist is indeed the one who worked with the landlady noona, it makes sense for this art style. Many artists aren’t good because it’s a webtoon. They don’t focus on just 1 drawing, it’s a lot. I have seen body proportions in bl that are weird, clothes that are mismatched, and anything else.
Girl, there are a lot of ai assistance tools, and that’s completely fine as long as you’re not using fully ai generated images. I’m an artist too, and programs like Clip Studio Paint and Adobe Photoshop implement ai assisted tools that help artists improve their workflow. Like you mentioned, there are indeed auto coloring tools and grass generators in clip studio. In Clip Studio, even converting 3D background assets into 2D involves ai assistance, I literally use these features and it helps a lot for those who works in webtoons. These tools are meant to support the workflow, not replace the artist. That’s how the industry works, as long as the artwork isn’t fully ai generated. Specifically, Clip Studio has made statements that they use ai to assist artists, not to replace them or generate complete artworks.
What no gurl... Brushes in csp is not AI generated.... It's still from human creation, the artist give consent so other artists can use it as brush, pattern or image material via csp assets.
"Clip Studio Paint uses machine learning for specific productivity focused tools rather than a general AI assistant. Key AI powered features include "Colorize" for automatic shading, "Pose Scanner" for 3D posing, and "Remove Tones," notes Clip Studio TIPS and Clip Studio TIPS. In 2022, they decided against implementing generative AI image creation tools after user feedback regarding ethical concerns."
Gurl, the official csp literally said it’s AI assistance. Like I said, there’s nothing wrong with using these assistance csp created because they literally help the artist. It seems you misinterpreted my comment. Generated images use the artist’s art style is what I’m talking about and that’s what’s wrong
Wait... I think I read it too quickly yesterday, so I missed some parts. Like the "AI generative” and “AI assistance” part. Sorry
CSP has AI based tools in the software (like lasso, coloring aids, etc.) but I don’t think anyone really has a problem with that. In my first comment, I was clearly talking about the artist using generative AI. They were using generative AI as part of their drawing process.
Maybe the workflow was something like this,
The artist did the line art and base colors themselves...
Then AI generated the color shading and fixed the face proportions.
After that, the artist went back and corrected some of the weird parts.
I think most of us understood from the beginning that we were talking about generative AI. No one is blaming someone for using a brush, the lasso tool, or normal CSP features... that’s completely standard in the illustration world.
When people say “they’re using AI assistance on their webtoon,” it usually means generative AI... not regular brush tools in CSP that happen to use algorithmic assistance.
You mentioned CSP and Adobe, but Adobe clearly has generative AI features, while CSP actually canceled that feature after receiving backlash.
Sorry if my explanation wasn’t clear... English isn’t my first language ╥﹏╥

As an illustrator, I honestly think this manhwa is sadly using AI assistance especially in the coloring.
The art kinda look consistent, which makes me think it’s not 100% AI, but still partially assisted.
The female and male characters seem to have different art styles. The female characters have smooth lineart, while the male characters have rough, thick lines. I don’t know if they’re using two different illustrators for this project or not.
Some of the body proportions also feel off (?). Some parts look great, but others are like... why?
Especially the hands, sometimes they look really out of place compared to the rest of the art style.
My guess is they’re using AI as assistance for coloring and expressions, then fixing and polishing the final result manually.
