He keeps them at home coz they're basically walking dead "zombies" and he wants to kill them to end their suffering but mc himself can't do it. So the ml does it for him.
mc's power made it so that they in a constant "zombie" state and cannot die but aren't really alive so he keeps them in his apartment but ml's power can make them pass on/die
