i’m assuming that was the only real legal way to give her any access to any of the family’s assets. it seems like in this world women are unable to obtain heir status especially unmarried. i think he genuinely cared for her but it’s unfortunate he didn’t care enough about his son it seems cause the son got some serious daddy issues
Was her uncle really a good guy? He promised her that the family title will be given back to her yet he gave the title to his pathetic son. Even though he still left her quite a lot of wealth and properties, he put it as a frozen asset that she could only have once she's married as a dowry at that. Meaning it's not even for her. Wtf?!
