Juhyeok DID want to rely on medication, go back and fucking read chapter 4. Juhyeok NEVER wanted this situation to happen, he didn't just woke up one day and decided to depend on Su Ah without a reason, this dependency was built because of Su Ah's YEARS of boundary-crossing and ignorance for Juhyeok’s autonomy, to the point that even suppressants no longer works for him. His body was slowly compromised and conditioned to depend on Su Ah's biology, that's been literally explained in the story. Saying that Juhyeok could've resort to medication literally misses the narrative where Juhyeok was warned that consistent scenting would negatively affect his control over his own pheromones. Juhyeok NEVER asked for his body to be conditioned like this, he NEVER CONSENTED to it, and NEVER asked for his autonomy to be taken away from him.
