Not saying that Minchan course of action is in the right. And more with giving him the ultimatum. But you really have to think about it from his point of view. He really cares and Tae and he doesn’t want Tae to get hurt. Mind you this is an illegal underground boxing. There aren’t actual official that can prevent serious injuries. And when you see the person that Tae is going to fight, you’re naturally going to be scared for the person you love. Like yall don’t understand how good his opponent is. AND Tae was injured in his last match and going to fight a stronger opponent right after healing is like the worst decision ever. Minchan literally ask if he could just start w beginner things to get back in route. At the end, he’s right. No body in that ring care if Tae gets paralyzed bc they are there for the thrill and the danger of doing it illegally. Also spoilers for the next few points…
1. Minchan doesn’t even go along with the ultimatum. He still goes to support Tae even if Tae didn’t choose him.
2. Minchan is pregnant during this. Yeah sure they don’t know it at the time being
3. Tae loses this fight, maybe blame Minchan for distracting but when you’re in a real match you can’t blame the viewers. It’s your own fault if you’re not concentrated.
Like i said i agree that his course of actions are wrong. You should never tell someone before their match to not go. It’s giving you don’t trust him to be strong enough. But also other than that everything else points to Minchan intentions and his thought process. In the end of the story if Tae didn’t have plot armor he could’ve lose the baby. One kick in the stomach or ribs would’ve cause too much damage. Anywhere in the body basically would’ve most likely cause him to lose the baby other than his arm and legs.
