You gotta have deductions skills and sometimes DO judge a book by its cover lmao. But that’s also what reviews are for as well so it helps to know how bad the situation is in the book to decide if you wanna read it or not.
Rape isn’t something that should be expected nor wanted but it’s part of the course if you’ve been reading BL long enough. I could name you so many with just sweetness and twice as many with questionable boundaries on what constitutes as consent or not.
Yes it does have the assault scene but honestly - expect the EXPECTED becuz it’s BL. It’s between the leads and does it deter from the story? If you don’t mind it, no not really, it’s a decent story and that part is as emotionally charged as it can be as a story of 5 chapters.
