Hmm... The premise was interesting but I feel like it didn't quite deliver on the execution. I don't like how the MC was basically crying all the time for every change in their relationship, it felt kind of stale with the pattern of ML pushes -> MC cries -> MC withdraws -> repeat. Especially the amount of pushing gave me anxiety but then MC is supposedly happy. It just felt weird.
For a "both selves are me" type of plot, both of them didn't really swap to their other personas enough for me to really feel like this theme was cohesive. It was basically a 90% personality A and 10% persona B, but every time they're brooding or working something out, it's just personality A. That unfortunately makes me feel like A is just their true self and B is the mask rather than that A and B are both equal sides of themselves.
Too bad. Would've been great if done a bit better.
