This was too close to perfection, in every way : story telling, drawing, characters, flashbacks, character development, plot twist, concepts of drugs , business and art perception, beginning, closure, hidden messages, symbols, i have no regrets about anything .
So to my personal analysis , i can't believe MATTHEW is color blind or more precisely he sees the world UNDER A GREEN LIGHT , and that's explain a lot of things : - why he always crossed the road recklessly without noticing the lights - why he didn't even noticed that his drink was spiked at the party even though the dream pill is noticeable because of its red color. -why he didn't understand the terror of blood from a young age , even when jin killed that bastard father at the church. -why he felt like jin's house was lifeless, since it didn't have one drop of green , so in his eyes every thing looked grey and cold
SO TO SUM UP : Matthew's world is green , jin's world is splashed with red ( addiction to bloodshed and red pills) , since green cancels red , Matthew holds the key to liberating jin from his cruel World only he can pull him out and that's eventually what he did and what he said " i can't join ur world so instead i ll pull u to mine " not exactly like this but he said something like that , in the end Matthew became jin's world and vise versa .
