Hey I have the same opinion like you! I do love fate love stories, but the premise of this story was 'even if I'm not the main character, I won't let fate to dictate who I love and who I will be spending the rest of my life with' bcs she thinks cedric's fate is adeline. It's anticlimactic when revealed she is THE Adeline soul which indicates she's actually following fate. But overall I still love this bcs I found their relationship and dynamic so cute (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I agree so hard. I was mad disappointed when that happened. But thankfully the story was still interesting afterwards.
I really thought it would be nice if they weren't fated. But I understand the story is supposed to come off like a fairy tale so fated love isn't super out of place.
Love the story, but I wish Dillon wasn’t Adeline from the past life, but a separate person, and that Katherine was the actual Adeline who, after remembering her past life, even though she loved Cedric in the past, now—after changing her circumstances in this life—they don’t end up falling in love because they don’t need to “fix” each other with love.
I’m not the biggest fan of reincarnated love interests who, in every life, love each other because of the first time and because it’s fate. I appreciate when they love someone for who they are now, not for similarities to the past.
