The world building of the omegaverse is inconsistent. I’m not saying that it’s not extremely detrimental, but the underlying sentiment applies to that of the smoothie. There are cases where someone’s health can change base on early developments. I found out I was allergic to honey and my dumb ahh mom would put honey in everything. I would break out, but not a major reaction. She assumed and gaslighted me into thinking it was something else until I got older. We talked about it. I was upset, I don’t hate her but felt that she could have made better choices.
I don’t see it as a major hinderance because the world building doesn’t have a set of rules? I read one manga where alpha’s hormones have no effect on an omega, then there’s another where pheromones can cause awakening, another where medicine can block it, some scents are strong, some are weak, etc. One where alpha’s find other alpha’s pheromones to smell like garbage, shit, etc
To me, him scenting was to ward off other alphas. If we think about this world, omegas have to work 1000% harder than anyone. Alphas are predatory. If we apply the logic that alpha’s despise other alpha’s pheromones, then that’s what ML was doing. The way he went about it isn’t justifiable but understandable.

I'm gonna add onto everyone dragging you right now. Even if the scenting was done without ill intentions, it still is causing harm Juhyeok. If he was so concerned about him he should have told him to see a medical professional about consensual scenting or other medical treatment. And at the end of the day, the scenting was not in fact healthy for his body. It was only a temporary fix that caused an even bigger problem later on. (Maybe because Su-Ah is biased and not a fucking doctor)

And regardless of the made up rules of omegaverse, the bottom line is that Su-Ah caused Juhyeok to become physically dependent on his pheromones. Juhyeok's choices are watch Su-Ah jerk off or risk going into heat in public and get assaulted by strangers. One choice might be less bad than the other, but guess what: BOTH ARE FORMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT. He is being forced to make choices that he isn't even at fault for.
Su-Ah's delusional fantasies and unhealthy obsession without Juhyeok caused him to HURT Juhyeok not help him. That's some hero/savior complex right there thinking he had the right to pull that scenting crap. Su-Ah's recklessness and possessive instincts caused harm to Juhyeok because he didn't understand the full weight of his actions. It doesn't matter if it's because he was young or in love, he still did significant damage.
And the whole broccoli analogy was very poor. Your parent or legal guardian is obligated to make choices about your health when you are a minor so they technically have the right to push you to eat a healthy balance diet. A childhood friend on the other had has no authority or right to force anything onto you even if they think "it' s for your own good".

Are we able to evaluate the actions of both characters 100%? As well as think of the world building of alpha/omegas? Apply that to their circumstances? Situation? Actions? To development?
