the ML honestly didn’t GAF about yesung, beyond extending his sympathies as yesung was dying. the ML loves the MC for the same reason all the readers love the MC: he’s beautiful, funny, unhinged in the best ways, thoughtful, just the right amount of money-hungry, and he’s smart. he’s alluring and irresistible, and the ML agrees! it’s true love as you’ll see in the coming chapters…

baeyool (2nd ML), however, was obsessed with yesung (whom he calls hyung.) that’s why it was very important in the novel that 2nd ML never ONCE called ML by his name, instead calling him “hyung.” 2nd ML doesn’t GAF about the ML, and he’ll be punished for that VERY soon……

so that’s basically it. i didn’t like yesung because, as i was reading the MLs’ backstory, i just had a pit in my stomach. i was filled with dread, i hated it so much
