it did cross my mind that maybe the brother was another person who maybe got dropped into the story. there was a scene where they asked if this was [insert wtv book title they said] burning blossom or bittersweet something.

I dont really know what's going on with me since I keep going back for more but I am with you...for now we dont know who is who and I really dont care since he seems to be an asshole with everyone; friends, family, etc... they are all treated by shit from this guy.
But like those aren’t his friends and that ain’t his family though? Like you ain’t gotta give a shit about nobody technically.. he especially don’t have to since everybody been looking at him funny. Like yeah they care about him and shit but they don’t care about HIM. They care about whoever is gone, the life he took over and they hope he comes back one day. Well surprise, bitch any stories they never come back so he might as well stay distance.
i hear y’all both, but part of the mc’s plan to get out of this novel is making sure everything goes according to the plot. he’s got a lot working against him and you can’t blame him for how frustrating that is, plus the health issues, and certain events happening before they should etc. but he remembers that the brothers have a good relationship and i would think the easiest relationship to keep on track would be with the seungjun since he already adores seungwon. but even when we first see the brother, seungwon is already telling him to fuck off and fuck off for good. it’s just ????? what happened to hello??
but y’all are right. he has been an asshole to basically everyone that isn’t the ml. it just feels very counterproductive to his plan to leave the novel. especially the people who, by the book’s design, already love him
i let it slide when he was mean to his brother the first time when seungjun didn’t deserve it at all. now seungjun comes to seungwon again, CLEARLY trying to tell him something and seungwon wants to sever ties with him like that?? while he’s bleeding profusely in front of his kid brother??? idc if that wasn’t your original life, no reason to be a dick to the brother.
