Kinda fucked up

That we won't ever be getting a continuation for any of BWAT's earlier works before Blossoms of the White Night. Thanks to their former publishing company refusing to let go of the licenses, BWAT had to drop two ongoing series ((potentially just for now)) and lost the rights to Taming the Tiger and most likely those before it.

Which means BWAT does not receive any sort of royalties from "official" merch or even collab cafes.

Please keep this in mind and choose to support their current and future works from here on out.

If what I'm remembering is correct, BWAT is trying to get the rights back for both FS and D00.

I recently learned about all this when their previous publisher hosted a collab cafe for Taming the Tiger and people were bringing up how BWAT was basically getting nothing from it.

It just kills me 'cause now I have to keep an ear to the ground for which publisher might potentially pick up any of BWAT's works if they ever get physically released in English. I refuse to give anyone a cent if BWAT isn't gonna get their cut.

Man, that stupid company just makes my hatred for them even more pumped up. I just hope that once their licenses comes back, they'll get to give their other works some side stories and not just foul's start and dear 00. :((

They will continue the side stories if they got it right?

    Hmmm I'm not too sure.

I don't wanna get hopes up by saying for sure, but it could honestly go both ways.

I know how it feels to lose or give up on something and try to get back to it years later. BWAT may feel inspired by the relief of gaining their licenses back, but at the same time their works could feel tainted by negative feelings towards the previous publisher.

I could only hope that in the end they find peace and a positive resolution.
