i think one reason is that drawing them uncensored probably takes up additional time compared to when they just make them lightsabers. honestly i dont mind since that reason lets more chapters be put out quicker.

It’s due to censorship laws, essentially. You’ll see more uncensored stuff now a days; but in things like, for example Japanese manga it’s more common because their censorship laws are pretty strict. Kinda interesting topic to learn about tbh lol
That's weird considering said ppl are reading basically porn with plot, but I do get that a good portion of readers are still very young and obviously girls, so seeing dcks might not be pleasant for them
Personally I think in Japanese mangas the lightsabers aren't as obvious bcuz the s*x scenes are drawn in a more of a blurry way whilst manhwas are literally showing a whole page of zoomed in white nothingness entering a hole. I don't know, personally I rather see uncensored ones since it is more aesthetically pleasing, art wise and not the dck itself
Haven't thought of that but I see some uncensored ones that have no problem keeping up with the schedule. I'm not asking for a detailed drawing with veins and all that but not the mass of white that we keep seeing
Oh no, I mean quite literally there are laws when distributing porn or 18+ scenes and censorship is a big part of that. I don’t think you’re wrong; I can imagine there are probably a fair few who just use the lightsaber so they don’t have to draw a dick, but the actual existence of light sabers in comics is due to that.
Basically, when selling something, there might be some specific rules that mean you won’t legally be able to distribute something if you don’t comply. It’s a big thing with actual live filmed porn as well, but again, what rules those are can change, and it’ll be different again depending on what country it’s coming from. Thankfully we’re getting more on the manhwa side of things, but that’s the specific reason behind why it’s a thing ^^’
To specify what specific rule might cause this; it would probably be something like “you must censor private areas of all parties shown in 18+ scenes”. It’s annoying but it’s very much a legal thing of whether or not it can be done sometimes.
I still think it's such a weird mindset cuz like, what else can a man have between his legs, same goes for a woman of course. Censoring natural body parts like it's some kind of shameful thing is really narrow minded and harmful. Written and/or visual porn it's consumed with that intent, i understand if they want to protect the purity of viewers on a normal basis but this is supposed to show sexual scenes. If they want to censor it so bad than they should've went the Chinese way with adding flowers.

Hahah, no I totally get it lmao. I remember when manhwas first got clearance to uncensor their work, I was reading ‘Dawn of the dragon’ at the time and was like “holy fucking shit.” Hopefully we see more older works like walk on water get uncensored versions released
