That kind of trope honestly baffled me because it makes no sense whatsoever.
Language was created from environtment, history and culture of a population at one point when they wanted to unite their language for better communication.
How could they speak and write Japanese or in different world unless in some distant past their ancestors were Japanese isekaied like them-
