I think FNL is based off SNL, but it's a South Korea based show since the cast member has a Korean name, and the concept (dating sim, isekai) for the bit isn't as well known in the US.
Since it's probably a domestic show, it's not that crazy. I agree that it would be crazy if it was intended as the US show because they haven't really talked about Stardust's international fanbase.
it's kinda unrealistic that they are going to snl already when they haven't had their 1 year anniversary debut lmao even BTS took years for them to go there
