i would have only enjoyed them together if the ml wasn't so selfish. i love how madly in love he is, but to wish death upon the people mc holds dear? so he could be the only one to stay with the mc? it's disgusting.

i don't see why they couldn't take the route of the ml allowing mc to process the loss of his wife, and eventually helping him find his daughter so they could raise her together? she could have easily been saved. it's just so sad. ):
