It’s just a fan theory that the ending will be tragic, nothing is confirmed. People think that because it’s narrated in the past and there are hints. BUT It’s not certain that the ending itself will be sad. Definitely give it a read, it’s amazing.
i dont get how they think they are dead. How can dead people reminisce? They are probably just recalling the past
