Exactly!!! The side couple should’ve been totally devoted to a separate side story. That may still happen but, as it’s currently playing out, it feels like a jumbled mess. Although, I have to say I’m really excited about what’s about to happen between our side couple!!!! Hawt stuff!!!!
I so agree with you.. like at the end of szn 1 I totally thought that this next season would be solely based on seojoon and blondie,, like don’t get me wrong, I love Hajin and gunwoo but for me having both these separate stories jumbled up together ruins the flow of each chapter. It seems that in each chapter there’s 2 cliffhangers,, ig the more the merrier but atp I just wanna see seojoon and blonde makeup and end my baby seojoons suffering ));

YESS, like for me, Gunwoo and Hajin’s story is DONE. They’re together and happy and stuff, no need to bring another problem to their table. The 2nd couple should’ve been the main focus of this season, especially with how complicated their relationship is, they need more than just these few bits of chaps they get

AGREE im honestly starting to care less about second couple now because i don't see them enough, i thought this is why you do split seasons so stuff like this doesn't happen. Idk i could also just not have a great attention span
I love both couples, but playing them along side each other, it just feels like not enough time is devoted to either. And I may be in the minority, but I love my main couple. However, I feel this season should’ve been all about Frenchie and glasses. Something like how “Stranger Than Friends” played out. Season 1&2 were all about Hyeok and Inseo. Then there were 2 side stories for the secondary couples. Now there’s a final season back to conclude our main couple. That way, you knew where the focus was going to be.
Yeah i still like them both, just not as invested, though it might also just be the inevitable wait between chapters. But ig that also lends to there being even more time now you have to wait to see either couple's story play out, if you keep switching between them, rather than having a whole batch dedicated to one arc as you said
The problem with having 2 equally important storylines instead of splitting the side story into its own manhwa is that by not giving enough time to each one you half ass both and make it impossible to care about either
