If you expected a simple story your looking at the wrong places. I think this reaction is normal and makes the most sense plot wise and pacing wise
I feel the same like brooo how can you not know her voice
i’ve been annoyed because shouldn’t vincent be able to recognize her voice???? i know it’s been 5 years but he was blind that whole time they were together… his senses are supposed to be a lot more enhanced (he even said it himself) and their whole relationship was her being his voice in his darkness, so how can he not recognize her at all? like even ethan was able to recognize her voice when she was defending him to the other maids bruh it just doesn’t make sense
