The MC was like a former king/advisor that had become a slave, and was being looked after by a brother/sister duo which made him take medicine for some like self-induced pyschosis. And his lover was a like a rival king/general. And the story got to the point where the Mac had to try and escape because the abusive brother was going to make him marry him.
