This was a new BL and I think it was a historical middle eastern setting.In the first chapter, MC was betrayed and killed by his most trusted aide (he slit his throat) and the his body was thrown in the dessert. In his last moments, a god or devil (sorry i don’t remember this part) gives MC second chance to change his fate and the wound in throat is turned into some kind of marking due to the regression.
