So basically, Kimoto is going off the deep end. As we know, Kimoto is the brain of a primordial demon just as Jin is the heart (or more specifically, he's infested with the brain of the primordial demon, aka da bug). He hadn't unlocked his nature as an insect up until this point as his feelings for Tehir were stopping him from doing so. Because an insect doesn't feel something like love. Kimoto has always tried to suppress his feelings though, he wanted to run away from them. He didnt want to love Tehir. He made the revelation that he could escape from his feelings if he truly embodied the nature of an insect (Because insects only eat, sustain themselves and reproduce. They are not weighed down by heavy emotions like love.) Finding out that Tehir truly did not have any feelings for Kimoto and only viewed him as a pitiful lamb that made him feel superior, he reached his breaking point and officially chose to abandon his feelings and humanity, choosing to transform into an insect. Tehir is figuring out his feelings in the midst of all this, but the point stands that Kimoto has essentially given up. He's now transforming into an insect, AKA thd brain of the primordial demon.
