So basically the ML is haunted by a ghost that was created by Muni(the serpent, it takes forms and faces we still don't know his real face, but Muni is the red text box). As we know The ghost that's in ML is a lower degree. And it doesn't cause much harm. Ghost gate the name is from the place where the ghost comes and leaves through ML's body as a host. But for it to close I'm guessing all of muni's og souls have to combine in one(one that has red speech<main> and the one in ML (it's the long-haired u see when yuran runs into him at the stairwell)

Muni is MC's past self and it's like this because the long haired historic man is ML's past self. Muni loved the ML's past self but ML only loved him when Muni became disgruntled and near death like. And he only wanted him like that so he sent him to a serpent cave. But instead of dying or living he was bitten by a serpent and turned into this horror being who now has stayed for decades and is now around ML and haunting him.

Muni didn't do this with ML's ex because he didn't feel his parted soul on him. But as the shaman said that the MC's soul is incomplete it can be deterred that a main part of Muni's soul is captured in MC and maybe not shown yet so he's around MC as well.


Moving to the ML. The ML and the ghost (I forgot the name, he has a name) that is a lookalike of ML and talked on other looks feeds on sex. And they have some sort of symbiotic relationship with both ML and ghost benefiting (it's not shown yet, the reason I mean). But since ML's got a taste of the never-look-back-bussy of MC he became obsessed with him. And tortures him. The ML human is actually a green flag. And since I said symbiotic relationship with his ghost too + his own intentions he starts getting closer to MC. But his ghost recognizes muni in mc and hence that's why he can sense and see the same as him. Any other questions I'll answer

So basically I read the mlted raws ages ago and it kinda made sense at the time. What I remember is that. That seme in his past life (young master) was into people acting dead or indifference or something (it was a type of phillia). His dad had brought Muni (MCs past life) as his servant cause he knew young master wouldn't touch Muni since he was turned off by how obsessed/in love Muni was with him.
Young master got fed up cause Muni was cockblocking a lot and found out that there was a snake demon or something near this area and ordered Muni to go into the pit/hole and that he'd be back. Muni complies.
Later random servants are like where is Muni and young master is like I left him in the hole so the servants bring Muni back but Muni is messed up? He's in this vegetative state. The servants say to the young master what they should do with him and young master said to just take care of him.
Months go past and Muni is still in this vegetative state and randomly young master goes to see him (or walks past I can't remember) and he sees Muni.
Well he falls in love with the vegetative dying Muni. As more time goes past Munis condition gets worse and he is going to die (or did die).
Young master does not want this so he starts looking for shamans to peform a ritual to bring Muni back to life. All the shamans are like nah we'll get messed up by the heavens if we do this.
BUT
the shaman we saw in the latest chapters ancestor agrees to do it (she had a compelling reason i dont remember) but she needs something Muni owns and the snake demon thing from earlier. She was like he'll go back to how he was before and young master is like nah I don't want him like before I want him similar to now (EW IK). But this is a major reason why Giyoons souls messed up
Young master realised Muni doesn't own shit and the only thing he had was that bookmark. So that was used along with the snake demon (they caught earlier).
The actual ritual got messed up and made Muni and snake demons soul kinda merge (this is the red eyed ghost we see at the beginning that possesses Jimin).
But now the shamans family is cursed and they kinda look after Snake Munis soul, eventually snake Muni sees reincarnation of young master at the company. He breaks off a part of reincarnations soul to create yellow eyed ghost (the one we saw jacking off at the beginning and thats why he complies/is scared of snake muni ghost).

Well like I said Giyoons soul was fragmented, one side (snake muni) loves seme unconditionally but theres the other side that we are just being introduced that hates the seme and resides in Giyoons body (thats why giyoon had flashbacks of cutting his hand)
