Unrealistic? I don't so. If you were suddenly thrown into a fucking novel and you were destined to die, this is only a natural reaction wanting to go back into her real world. And the fact that the novel she was in didn't mention any saintess, ghost, purification etc. of course she's confused asf and all she could probably think about is ways on how to get back. If you read the other Manhwa "Kill the villainess" it's kind of the same, but at the end she manage to go back her original world.
i mean the moment you enter a situation you know nothing of IS THE MOMENT you should research a little. Like- do you know if you can find a job, shelter and food once you leave? just the basics, i am not even talking about the grandous thing like being chased by some cult bcs you left but basic necessities you cannot get. She basically went like- oh i need to leave asap so might as well be homeless yolo. Like i wouldn't want her to be there for ages but gurl take your 15 minutes of time to figure out your standing and whether it's safe
The novel mentioned the ML's gonna go nuts and burn everything in just seven days, so that's probably one of the reasons she was trying to escape in a hurry. And since she cannot sense any evil spirit, even her own power of course she'll think everyone is nuts.
We're only on 15 chapters, so what's the hurry? The author probably planned a slow development story.

like gurl you should think about the world you are in, like how do you plan to leave a temple with nothing to you, without even knowing your own background - so unrealistic this might be the dumbest regressor of all time
